Overview
Lime Banner — wall-mounted is one of the 16 variants of White Banner — wall-mounted: same recipe, same hardness, same drops — only the look differs. The full write-up for the set is on the White Banner — wall-mounted page.
Lime Banner — wall-mounted counts as a coloured block in Minecraft 1.21.4. It cannot be obtained in Survival — it exists for Creative mode and commands. Hardness 1 puts it in the middle of the pack for mining speed.
No specific tool is required to collect it. Instead of dropping itself it yields Lime Banner. Because it is transparent it does not block light.
A blast resistance of 1 means a single creeper will clear it away. It is not used in any crafting recipe.
About the lime set
How long it takes to break
At a hardness of 1, Lime Banner — wall-mounted takes 1.5 seconds to punch out and 0.2 seconds with a netherite-tier tool of the correct class.
An iron tool takes 0.25 seconds and a diamond one 0.2, so the jump that actually matters for this block is the one to iron.
No particular tool tier is required: any tool, or none at all, still yields the drop, so the table below is about speed rather than about whether you get anything.
The Efficiency formula is level² + 1 added to tool speed — at V that is about 4 times the unenchanted rate.
| Tool | No enchantment | Efficiency III | Efficiency V |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hand | 1.5 s | 1.5 s | 1.5 s |
| Wooden | 0.75 s | 0.15 s | 0.1 s |
| Stone | 0.4 s | 0.15 s | instant |
| Iron | 0.25 s | 0.1 s | instant |
| Diamond | 0.2 s | 0.1 s | instant |
| Netherite | 0.2 s | 0.1 s | instant |
| Golden | 0.15 s | 0.1 s | instant |
Properties
With 1 blast resistance Lime Banner — wall-mounted goes down to any nearby explosion. It is transparent to light and produces no light. Fire spreads to it readily (encouragement 60, burn 20), so keep it away from lava and away from anything you would rather not lose. The block is tagged for axes, and only that class gets the speed bonus; everything else mines at bare-hand rate. Broken normally it drops Lime Banner rather than itself; Silk Touch is what returns the block, and Fortune raises the ordinary drop instead.
