Light Gray Banner — wall-mounted is a coloured block in Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.4. This is a Creative-mode block; Survival players will never hold one. Its hardness of 1 makes it a normal, unhurried block to mine.

You can break it by hand without losing the drop. Breaking it produces Light Gray Banner. Light passes through it, so it will not darken the space behind it.

It offers almost no protection from explosions (1 blast resistance). No recipe takes it as an ingredient.

Properties

Blast resistance on Light Gray Banner — wall-mounted is 1, so any explosion nearby takes it out. It lets light pass and gives off no light. Fire spreads to it readily (encouragement 60, burn 20), so keep it away from lava and away from anything you would rather not lose. The block is tagged for axes, and only that class gets the speed bonus; everything else mines at bare-hand rate. Broken normally it drops Light Gray Banner rather than itself; Silk Touch is what returns the block, and Fortune raises the ordinary drop instead.
