Cookie policy

Which cookies MinecraftUZ and its advertising partners set, what each one is for, how long it lasts, and how to control or refuse them.

Updated:

This page lists the cookies and similar technologies used on https://minecraftuz.mezes.uz, and how to control them. It supplements the privacy policy.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets a site remember something between page loads — a preference, a session, or an advertising identifier.

Cookies this site sets itself

None that identify you. We set no first-party tracking cookies.

We do use your browser's localStorage (not a cookie, but the same kind of thing) to remember one value: whether you chose the light or dark theme. It stays on your device.

We also record your cookie choice itself there, under the key mcuz-consent, so that the notice does not reappear on every page. Like the theme, it stays on your device and is never sent to us. Once advertising is live, Google's certified consent platform keeps its own record of the same choice, in the form its ad requests read.

Cookies set by advertising

Google AdSense sets cookies to serve and measure advertising, including the DoubleClick DART cookie. Depending on your consent choice these may be used for personalised or non-personalised advertising, for frequency capping, and for fraud detection.

Other ad-network vendors may set their own cookies through the ad slots. We do not control them individually.

How to control cookies

On this site: use the cookie settings link in the footer to change your consent choice at any time.

In Google: Ads Settings lets you turn off ad personalisation across Google's network.

In your browser: every major browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may break parts of some websites, though this one will continue to work.
