Overview

Red Concrete counts as a coloured block in Minecraft 1.21.4. There is no way to craft it; you have to find it and mine it. Its hardness of 1.8 makes it a normal, unhurried block to mine.
Anything below a wooden pickaxe breaks it without leaving a drop. It drops as the same block you mined. With a blast resistance of only 1.8 it will not survive an explosion.
Sixty-four fit in one inventory slot. No recipe takes it as an ingredient.

You are looking at 0.45 seconds on iron and 0.35 on diamond — the iron step is where the time actually falls.
Below wooden the block breaks and simply vanishes. Bring the right tier or leave it in the ground.
Each Efficiency level adds level² + 1 to the tool's speed, so a level V tool clears this about 3 times faster than an unenchanted one.
