Overview
Since 1.14 an ocelot can no longer be tamed, only made to trust you: feed it raw cod or salmon repeatedly and it stops fleeing, but it will never follow, sit, or wear a collar. It still scares creepers and phantoms away, which is why jungle bases keep them nearby. Approach slowly, because sprinting or attacking resets its trust and it bolts into the canopy.
