Minecraft classifies Green Bed as a functional block. A crafting table turns its ingredients into Green Bed. It breaks almost instantly, with a hardness of just 0.2.
You can break it by hand without losing the drop. It is transparent, which matters when you are managing light levels. With a blast resistance of only 0.2 it will not survive an explosion.
