With 3 blast resistance Birch Planks usually goes down to a nearby explosion. It is fully opaque and produces no light. Stack size is 64 — the standard full stack. It renews, so a single world will never run out. Flammable, at encouragement 5 and burn 20: build with it away from lava, and do not use it as a wall you care about. The block is tagged for axes, and only that class gets the speed bonus; everything else mines at bare-hand rate. As furnace fuel it burns for 15 seconds — one and a half smelting operations.
