Overview
Pink Carpet is one of the 16 variants of White Carpet: same recipe, same hardness, same drops — only the look differs. The full write-up for the set is on the White Carpet page.
Pink Carpet counts as a coloured block in Minecraft 1.21.4. A crafting table turns its ingredients into Pink Carpet. It breaks almost instantly, with a hardness of just 0.1.
You can break it by hand without losing the drop. It drops as the same block you mined. With a blast resistance of only 0.1 it will not survive an explosion.
Sixty-four fit in one inventory slot. The recipe calls for Pink Wool. It is not used in any crafting recipe.
About the pink set
Properties
Pink Carpet resists blasts at 0.1, which is not enough to survive anything explosive nearby. Light does not pass through it, and it emits none of its own. 64 fit in a slot — a full stack. Fire takes to it quickly — encouragement 60, burn 20 — which makes it a poor neighbour for lava or a lit campfire. As furnace fuel it burns for 3.4 seconds — 0.3 smelting operations.
