Andesite Stairs is a stone-family block in Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.4. A crafting table turns its ingredients into Andesite Stairs. Its hardness of 1.5 makes it a normal, unhurried block to mine.
Anything below a wooden pickaxe breaks it without leaving a drop. It drops as the same block you mined. It stacks to 64.
You make it with Andesite. You can also cut it from Andesite on a stonecutter. It is not used in any crafting recipe.

Andesite Stairs has a blast resistance of 6, so a nearby explosion will usually destroy it. It blocks light completely and emits no light of its own. 64 fit in a slot — a full stack. The fastest tool for it is a pickaxe; any other kind of tool mines it no faster than a bare hand does, because the speed bonus only applies to the tool class the block is tagged for.
