Overview
Warped forest is the blue-green fungal forest of the Nether and, counter-intuitively, the safest biome in the dimension: no piglins, no hoglins, no zombified piglins and no ghasts spawn here. The only mob that generates is the enderman, and it generates in enormous numbers, which is exactly why warped forest is the standard site for an enderman farm and the fastest way to collect ender pearls for eyes of ender. Huge warped fungi grow like trees on warped nylium, with warped stems for trunks, warped wart blocks for caps, and shroomlight scattered through them at light level 15. Twisting vines climb upward from the floor and can be climbed like a ladder. The blue fog cuts visibility, which matters when you are trying to avoid looking at an enderman's face. Warped stems strip and craft into a complete wood set that is entirely fireproof, which makes warped and crimson the only sensible woods for building in the Nether. Warped nylium bone-mealed grows more fungus, so the whole set is renewable. Warped forest borders nether wastes, crimson forest and soul sand valley.

- Endermen cannot enter a 2-block-high space, so a low tunnel through a warped forest is completely safe.

- No hostile Nether mob other than the enderman spawns here, so this is the biome to build a portal hub in.

Warped Forest has a base temperature of 2, which puts it in the hot band. Temperature is not a thermometer reading — it is the single number that decides snow versus rain, whether water freezes over, and what colour the grass renders.
