Overview
A maintenance release two months after Tricky Trials, cleaning up crashes and issues found in trial chambers and the new vault and spawner logic. It adds no content, so every 1.21 feature applies unchanged. Its significance is practical rather than mechanical: because 1.21.2 arrived with a large technical rework, a great many servers, mod loaders and multiplayer communities settled on 1.21.1 and stayed there for the rest of the year.
