Таблица сравнения еды

Сортировка и фильтры для всей еды: голод, сытость и их соотношение.

Это руководство пока доступно только на английском. Справочные страницы — блоки, предметы, мобы, биомы и рецепты — переведены полностью.

Almost everyone picks food by the number of drumsticks it refills, and almost everyone is picking wrong. Hunger is only half the system. Behind the visible hunger bar sits a hidden saturation value, and it is saturation that drains first: while you have any saturation left, the hunger bar does not move at all. Only when saturation reaches zero does the visible bar start emptying. So the food that keeps you fed longest is not the one with the biggest hunger number — it is the one with the most saturation per hunger point.

That is what the ratio column measures. Steak and cooked porkchop restore 8 hunger and 12.8 saturation, a ratio of 1.6. A golden carrot restores less hunger, 6, but 14.4 saturation, a ratio of 2.4 — the joint best in the game, level with the golden apple and the enchanted golden apple. Sweet berries, at 0.2, are close to worthless as food.

Sort the table by any column, search by name, or hide the non-stackable stews and soups if you are packing for a trip. The ratio column opens sorted high to low, so the foods worth carrying are at the top — Золотое яблоко among them, at 2.4.

Showing 41 of 41 foods, sorted by ratio high to low. Best saturation ratio in this list: Золотая морковь at 2.4.

Every food in Minecraft with the hunger points it restores, the saturation it grants, the ratio between them and its stack size.

Hunger is out of 20 — ten drumsticks, two points each. Saturation is a hidden second bar that sits on top of it and drains first, and it can never go higher than your current hunger. That is why the ratio column is the one to sort by: a food with a high ratio keeps you full for longer per point of hunger it restores.

How this works

Hunger, saturation and why the ratio matters

Your hunger bar holds 20 points, drawn as ten drumsticks. Saturation is a second, invisible value on top of it, capped at whatever your current hunger is — you can never hold more saturation than hunger. Every action that costs exhaustion (sprinting, jumping, mining, taking damage, regenerating health) spends saturation first, and only starts eating into the visible hunger bar once saturation has hit zero.

This has a consequence people miss: eating at full hunger is not a waste, because you are still topping up saturation. And it means a food’s real staying power is its saturation, not its hunger. Dividing saturation by hunger gives a clean figure of merit for how efficiently a single item converts stomach space into time before you next have to eat.

A worked example

Compare bread with a golden carrot. Bread restores 5 hunger and 6 saturation, a ratio of 1.2. A golden carrot restores 6 hunger and 14.4 saturation, a ratio of 2.4. From an empty bar, four loaves of bread refill hunger to 20 and leave you with roughly 20 saturation (capped). Four golden carrots refill hunger to 20 as well but the saturation cap holds you to 20 there too — the carrot’s advantage shows when you eat at or near full: one carrot on a nearly-full bar tops saturation right back to the cap, where one bread does not. Over a long mining session that is the difference between eating twice and eating six times.

The one exception worth knowing

Because saturation is capped at your current hunger, a very high-saturation food eaten on an empty stomach wastes most of its saturation. Golden carrots are best used as a top-up when you are already nearly full; steak is the better choice when you are genuinely starving. The ratio column ranks efficiency, not universal superiority.

Where the numbers come from

Hunger and saturation are read from Mojang’s own item data for Java Edition, so they are exact. One presentational note: Minecraft internally stores a “saturation modifier” and computes the saturation granted as hunger × modifier × 2. The saturation column here is that final value — the points you actually receive — so our ratio column equals twice the internal modifier. If you compare against a wiki table that lists the raw modifier instead, expect our figures to be double theirs. Suspicious stew and the various potion-like foods have effects beyond hunger that this table does not model.
