Quartz Stairs is a Nether block in Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.4. Quartz Stairs has a crafting recipe, so it is renewable as long as you can source its ingredients. At a hardness of 0.8 it takes a moment to break but never slows a build down.
It needs at least a wooden pickaxe to drop anything; a weaker tool destroys it for nothing. Mining it returns the block itself, so it is safe to relocate. A blast resistance of 0.8 means a single creeper will clear it away.
It stacks to 64. You make it with Block of Quartz. You can also cut it from Block of Quartz on a stonecutter.
It is not used in any crafting recipe.

Quartz Stairs resists blasts at 0.8, which is not enough to survive anything explosive nearby. Light does not pass through it, and it emits none of its own. A single slot takes 64, the usual full stack. The fastest tool for it is a pickaxe; any other kind of tool mines it no faster than a bare hand does, because the speed bonus only applies to the tool class the block is tagged for.
