Overview

Minecraft classifies Medium Amethyst Bud as a stone-family block. At a hardness of 1.5 it takes a moment to break but never slows a build down. It gives off a dim light level 2, enough to see by but not to stop mobs spawning.

Because it is transparent it does not block light. A blast resistance of 1.5 means a single creeper will clear it away. It stacks to 64.

Nothing on the crafting grid is made from it.
