Yellow Shulker Box counts as a storage block in Minecraft 1.21.4. Yellow Shulker Box has a crafting recipe, so it is renewable as long as you can source its ingredients. At a hardness of 2 it takes a moment to break but never slows a build down.
Broken correctly, it drops itself. Because it is transparent it does not block light. A blast resistance of 2 means a single creeper will clear it away.
It does not stack — each one takes its own slot. You make it with White Shulker Box and Yellow Dye. No recipe takes it as an ingredient.
