Overview
A honey block is slime's opposite number and shares its piston stickiness while behaving completely differently to walk on. Anything on a honey block moves slowly and cannot jump properly, and — uniquely — a player sliding down the side of a honey block descends slowly and takes no fall damage at the bottom, which makes a honey block wall the cheapest safe descent in the game and a standard feature of tall builds. Mobs and players on top of a honey block are dragged along when it moves, unlike a slime block, which is why honey is used for the passenger platform on a moving machine. Its critical redstone property is what it does not stick to: honey does not stick to slime. That single asymmetry is the mechanism behind every flying machine, because it lets a piston push one half of the machine while the other half stays behind. Four honey bottles make a block and the block uncrafts back into four bottles, so it doubles as honey storage. Honey itself comes from a beehive or bee nest at honey level 5, harvested with a bottle.
Sliding safely down tall walls with no fall damage, carrying players and mobs on a moving platform, and — because honey does not stick to slime — building flying machines.

Craft it from 4 honey bottles, and uncraft it back into 4 at any time. Honey comes from a beehive or bee nest once its honey level reaches 5, collected with a glass bottle.
