Netherrack is a Nether block in Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.4. It is gathered by mining rather than crafted. With a hardness of 0.4 it gives way immediately under almost any tool.
It needs at least a wooden pickaxe to drop anything; a weaker tool destroys it for nothing. Mining it returns the block itself, so it is safe to relocate. A blast resistance of 0.4 means a single creeper will clear it away.
It stacks to 64. You will need it for Netherite Upgrade, Rib Armor Trim and Nether Brick.
